New website, Google Reviews & Email Marketing Template

Bridgette & Tegan from Bliss Beauty & Wellness book their clients through the Fresha platform – a software and booking platform primarily designed for beauty and wellness businesses like salons, spas, and gyms.

Their current online presence was their Fresha booking site, which works well for them and they’ve built up nearly 500 x 5* reviews on this platform. However, they wanted to expand their online visibility and have their own branded website.

They selected a template from WIX as they wanted to use to keep the design simple and affordable. WIX offers an easy-to-edit website so they can manage some of the ongoing edits.

We built a 5-page site with Home, About, Services, Our Brands & Contact. During the build, we added a further page explaining more about their ‘Wellness Therapies’, which would assist their SEO (search engine optimisation) for terms such as Reiki, Myofascial massage and Regression Therapy.

Their branding was already in place and applied easily across the site. A photography shoot provided imagery of their beautiful premises and services in action.

Unfortunately, Fresha has removed their integration / embed functionality meaning we had to duplicate the services onto the website and manually update the number the reviews. We used a third-party review display widget to display their reviews which updates these on each page they feature and offers a superior display the the WIX widgets.

Once the website was live, we set up a new Google Business Listing, which is a major tool in increasing online visibility.

Their loyal clients were happy to add reviews on here, further building their visibility and authority as a strong, relevant map listing under ‘Beauty Salons / Spas’ in Nelson.

Each quarter, new specials are released and these are updated on the website as well as being sent out using the Fresha email marketing system with a fully designed template set up by Elevate.

The first email had a 65% open rate and 12% click through rate which is excellent and shows how engaged their audience is. Email is a strong channel in this instance and one to build on in the future.

We love working with Tegan & Bridgette to keep their services and reviews up to date on their WIX site and assist them with advice on other marketing channels like venue signage, gift cards etc.
