To raise the profile of and position the City of Bradford for investment

Project

MIPIM – The global urban conference

Results

Presenting our city at the leading global development and investment event

MIPIM is one of the world’s most influential real estate events, drawing over 20,000 delegates from 90 countries and representing more than €4 trillion in managed assets. Held annually in Cannes, it offers a high-stakes environment where cities compete for attention, investment, and strategic partnerships.

Karenna worked in partnership with a leading UK agency and the Bradford Centre Regeneration team to lead the city’s presence at MIPIM 2007. With venues secured years in advance and planning commencing at least nine months prior, this was a complex and high-profile campaign requiring sharp coordination and execution.

The result was a bold and effective campaign that cut through the noise of MIPIM—positioning Bradford as a serious contender for urban regeneration investment and building relationships that continued well beyond the event.

While Bradford maintained a presence within the conference centre, the real business of MIPIM happens beyond the exhibition hall.

Using a beachfront apartment on the Boulevard de la Croisette as our base, we curated and delivered a packed programme of four targeted events per day, each designed to attract key developers, investors, and media.

Events were co-funded by corporate sponsors and aligned with the investment team’s outreach strategy.
